The funniest thing in the whole world...

Is to hear my husband's laugh when I tickle his stomach.

It is the truest, most heart-felt laugh I have ever heard out of a person.
When you hear it, you can't help but laugh with him.

Sweet Orange Oil, YUM!

Trying to give up soda, energy drinks, or another beverage you would rather cut back on?

A couple of weeks ago, a friend suggested to invest in some sweet orange essential oil. She had given up soda by carrying a water bottle along with her and adding just a couple drops of the oil to the bottle. I was a little skeptical but figured I would try it anyway. It is refreshing!!

Another tip to try is cucumber water. Skin and cut up half a cucumber and put in a pitcher of water. Let set overnight. Try sweetening with Stevia. Another yummy and refreshing treat and a great changed from lemon water!

Be Careful What You Ask For!

We have all heard "Be careful what you ask for, it may just come true." It is soooo very true. Let me tell you a bit of a story about this. This is one of many stories to come...

I was not living my truth, for many different reasons, but mainly out of fear and intimidation. For months I kept asking for a business coach, a personal coach, guidance, someone that could help me out and keep me learning and on track. At the time, it was not coming from the form of a supervisor. I would think about this almost daily about how wonderful it would be, how much I would improve, and how much I was ready for it. I continued to focus on it.

Then, the door was no longer open on my current employment.
I chose a new job based off of things that aligned with me, Miracle, as a person.
Within 2 weeks of making this choice I happened upon 5 coaches that wanted to work with me!!! They seemingly, came out of no where. And at no cost to me!!! At that point, I was so overwhelmed that I almost wished it all away. Until I got to thinking about and realized what I was looking at. I was looking at the results of such intense manifesting... This was the result. My plea had not been unheard. In order for the Universe to supply this, I had to live more in alignment of what I was about.

Now, I am only working with one. That does make me a bit sad because I want to work with all of them and absorb the knowledge and wisdom! But I know my day will come when I get to work with them individually. So ... as the saying goes... be careful what you ask for! It will eventually come true! And if it isn't happening, look inward. There may be something that needs to be aligned. (Edited to Add.... Minutes after I wrote this I found THIS link. This is pretty good way to explain not being in alignment or out of the "Vortex:)

I am so blessed.

My, How things Change!

Well... since I last wrote my life has changed... BIG TIME.

I got married.
I changed careers.

HOLY COW!

I figured now would be a good time to get back into blogging.

I married The Fisherman in June. For some reason, we thought it would be a great idea to plan a wedding in 5 weeks. HAH! NEVER do that. NEVER EVER do that. What a zoo!
It still turned out wonderful, however. But I think if we would have stretched that out a bit, I would have been able to keep my mental sanity.

The career story will have to come later. But for now I thought I would say "Hi! Universe!!"

Its Friday!!!

It is Friday!!!! WOO HOO!
It is also 4am. BOO.

Usually when the seasons change, my sleep schedule is disrupted and I am all over the place. But lately, I am not sure what my deal is. However... I am QUITE happy that it is not Saturday when I am up at 4am since I have an early meeting today anyway.

I have been having so much fun and inspiration reading The Good Vibe Coach's Blog. I was suprised to read that she is based right here in Salt Lake City! If you need some food for thought, check her out!

Things I am thankful for today:
Even though I am up early, I woke up on my own with no alarm.
I work with amazing people that I respect more than I can ever say.
We are one day closer to spring.
Rental Cars
Remembering my cell phone when I leave for work. (Ok.. I am GOING to be thankful for that today because I forgot it yesterday and I felt like I was forgetting something all day!)

Happy Friday, All!

Paper planner: So far, So good :) :)
I have not missed a meeting yet and have gotten much more accomplished. Yay! I'll keep you posted. I am still on week one!

My list of "wants" this week is THIS
It looks like such an inspiring and amazing event. I wish I would have known about it just a few days sooner, however. I am going to watch for it for next year!

And in other news: My bum and the ice decided to be come fast friends, with a bang!
Me+ hot coffee+ laptop bag+ purse+ ice covered in a slight layer of snow= Me praying for summer, begging more like!

Things that made me smile today:
1. Getting to converse with someone I hadn't known well over lunch
2. Seeing a young woman take steps to improve her life and empower herself, despite popular opinion.
3. Biggest Loser! The show never stops inspiring me.
4. Getting many things accomplished and off my desk (yesterday too!)
5. Realizing I am down a couple of pounds. LOVE my bodybugg!
6. Hot tea and stevia! MMMM.....
7. Sending a send card without actually having to put it in the mailbox myself. I am SO bad about that. It just hangs out in my bag on or my desk for days. Sendoutcards is a godsend!

8. Yummy smelling candles... mmmmmm...
9. People that have said "please" and "thank you"

Stepping Back in Time

Today, after my BNI meeting, I asked for some help from our business coach about time management. It is an area I seem to struggle with lately. I want to know how to be most effective. He suggested I use a paper planner.
At first, I thought this may not be a good idea for me. But upon thinking about it further, I think he might be on to something. I can carry it EVERYWHERE, I can personalize it, I can same some money on my cell plan that already frustrates me, and I tend to be a list maker. Most of my lists are done on paper because I love the satisfaction of crossing off items.

What are you best time management tips?
